Product Description

Choosing Glory considers the doctrine of celestial, terrestrial and telestial realms, suggesting that here on earth we deal with all three kinds of individuals, behaviors, institutions, and ways of life. Dr. Anderson applies a three realm perspective to daily choices, dating, marriage, parenting, stress and progression. She offers concrete tools to help us find safety from telestial elements that threaten our peace and reminds us that we were meant for more than a good terrestrial life. This book invites us to recognize that every day we are in fact choosing glory.

This book gave me lots of ideas for improving my relationships and improving myself. It is full of great stories and quotes and scriptures that teach me how to become the person I want to be. I will definitely be recommending this book to friends and sharing excerpts from it with people I care about!

Eye-opener; solid, practical.

I've already purchased additional copies of this book, aside from lending my own copy to family members.

Anderson's work is practical, balanced, full of good humor and poignant, real life experiences both from her life as a wife and mother, and as a professional educator and clinical psychologist.

She makes no bones about the fact that people are responsible for their own lives, and yet she offers real hope in her portrayal of gospel principles. She assures us that we *can* choose glory, and that it's not the impossible goal that so many Latter-Day Saints seem to think it is.

This book reads easy, teaches well, and connects powerfully with the reader. I'm very glad I bought it, and I've already recommended it to those I know.

Thought provoking

Choosing Glory introduced a perspective on the gospel I had not considered until reading the book. It added to and enriched my current understanding, rather than challenging and changing my current gospel knowledge. In summary, I feel Dr. Anderson has added additional “light” to guide me on my journey back to God’s presence.
