Fun story. Well written. I hope its a series because I want more.

Witty mystery involving a missing friend and a large, funny family determined to find him.

Very unique mystery where a family of 10 is out to find the whereabouts of their missing friend. When they stumble upon a mystery and crime that gets their hearts (and bagpipes) pumping, things get exciting. The writing voice of this author made me laugh from the very first 2 lines:

“I pity the man who marries you. He’ll have his hands full.”
“So said Newton Fisher three months before he proposed to me.”

Great story. Annie and Newton are a funny couple and a great detective team as they manage life with 8 kids and search for their missing friend, Angus.

What a FUN book!
AND just what I NEEDED!

Light-hearted, yet mysterious...
Funny with a twist of a suspense...

A mystery will need to be solved~
A treasure will need to be hunted~
A friend will need to be found~

Annie can't get a hold of Angus, a family friend.

She asked him to come to dinner, but he never showed up.

He also didn't show up for the first day at the school he taught at.

Something must be wrong.

Annie feels that it will be up to her to find out what happened.

As she gets in deeper and find more clues it will take her whole family to figure it out before it is too late.

This book will make you laugh out loud while keeping you on the edge of the pages to see what happens next :)

I LOVED this one and will DEFINITELY read more from this author!
