This book was great! I loved the illustration and how the whole book was set up, it was cute and creative. Juile did such wonderful job with this book. She was funny and kept it real. She covered a lot of great topics, give excellent advice how to deal with different situations, and used great quotes. She helped me to see a different perspective and really made me think about what i need to do to help me more forward. Thanks Julie! :)

I got this book as a gift after a two-year relationship ended rather sourly. Two books got me through... the scriptures, and this. As I read I found myself laughing, crying, thinking, growing, and something that I never thought could happen... healing. It is full of great advice on how to overcome heartbreak while maintaining your self respect. What set it apart from most books like this is the gospel-centered aspect. I learned the importance of keeping Him in the center, and how quickly you can be healed casting your burdens at His feet. Plenty of laughs along the way, and I learn something new every time I read it. This is a must-read for any and all women in dealing with all relationships in your life. I loved it!!!

This book is funny and uplifting! The author goes over some rules for getting over a broken heart. There are funny breakup stories and comments that made me laugh out loud and then advice and quotes that made me want to be a better person. It is a really quick read - and would be fabulous for girls still in the dating scene - although I'd recommend it to anyone!

I love this book! Its fun, entertaining, hands on, applicable, gospel sound, but most of all uplifting! I walked away feeling full and happy :). Its a great change of pace from heavy scripture study because it is so engaging and made me laugh out loud! However, do not underestimate this books ability to feel the Holy Ghost! Its ability to aid with growth and deep introspection is phenomenal, leaving feelings of deep peace, eternal worth and unending potential! The perfect balance between funny and serious! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, especially those with teenagers. Fabulous read! I am looking forward to more from this aspiring new author!

I loved the book!! Its direct, hands on, encouraging, gospel sound, and most of all uplifting! I love the real life experiences and stories! I really think anyone can relate to a broken heart, and appreciate the solid and comprehensive (and funny)advice. It is a quick read and I read it one day feeling full and enriched! Its a nice change of pace from heavy scripture study because it is so engaging and made me laugh out loud! However, do not underestimate this books ability to bring the Holy Ghost into your heart and to assist you with deep introspection about your life, your eternal worth, and never ending potential! A perfect balance between fun and serious. I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone, especially those with teenage daughters! I look forward to great things from this aspiring new author!

This little book struck me with its poignant witticisms and straight talk. The stylistic graphics make it attractive for young adults and teens and the workbook/journal-type approach offers a unique vehicle for readers to understand their individual path as they go through it. I really loved it and recommend it for anyone who has loved and lost. It will help you to see reality and laugh about it, instead of crying.

OK. I admit it. I am married to the author, but I read this book after it was published. (Julie wouldn't let me read it while she was working on it). Believe me when I tell you it is wonderful. The author uses humor and true principles to help the reader work through the feelings of rejection and pain that come with the end of a relationship. I've had my heart broken. Who hasn't? There is an adage that time heals all wounds. In my view, this book accelerates time and assists the reader to transition from sorrow to contentment, from ashes to beauty.

of heartbreak! Loved it! The author really grasps the seriousness of heartbreak...(When you are in that moment, nothing is more serious!) ...but, she was able to use humor and gospel principles to speak frankly and honestly about breaking up do's and dont's. She gives very good advice and practical applications for mending your broken heart. This book is geared towards young women, but I think that all dating youth should own a copy of this book. Her easy going style of writing made for a very quick and easy read. I am married, but it was still a very good read and very entertaining. My favorite chapter was "Forgiveness isn't just for sins." and my favorite line was, "don't be creepy!". Haha! Highly recommend it!!

I loved this book. I read it in one sitting and found myself saying "listen to this part..." to anyone that was around while I read it. I loved the humor, along with really great advice at the same time. Every young women, and young adult woman should read this book, whether they have had their hearts broken from an ended relationship, or just haven't been asked out by the one they are interested in.

Okay, so I'm a single guy and this book seems geared mostly toward girls and women, but the same principles apply to guys. I've had my share of rejections and heartbreaks, as I think most people have. I wish this book were available in the summer of 2008 when I broke someone's heart pretty badly. She was very upset and just wouldn't get over me and move on. I wish I could have given her this book. I think the author should next write a book about how to reject or break up with someone with kindness, hopefully to do it without really devastating or destroying the other person. The best advice ever given when dumping in dating is "Be kind." (Elder Dallin H. Oaks in 'Dating vs. Hanging Out")

I loved this little book! It was a quick and easy read, you will want to keep it handy if you have teens, as they might need to reference it multiple times!
The book gave great advice on how to handle the dramatics of our modern day love lives. While it seems to focus on teens, Young adults, and many others could benefit from its contents. Not only does Julie give great advice on getting over a boy, and not making a fool of yourself when your heart gets broken. She hits the nail on the head by focusing on our divine worth, that we are God's children, and that we can find happiness and peace in that knowledge...
I'm super excited, we have booked Julie to come and speak to our YW's group! Our girls our excited to get some good advice on boys, breakups, and their true worth!

Her humor, side-notes, illustrations, and true stories add to the amazing attributes of this book. It's probably the best dating advice I've ever read. You find yourself nodding along and laughing because it's so true.
