Tender story portrayed well. Only wish this and other recent movies depicting winter pioneer treks would not apply the highly-artificial-looking peeling frozen skin make-up. It's so distracting and unnecessarily overdone. A tiny bit of deep red with perhaps slight purple tones subtlely applied in moderation would look more natural and would be a lot less distracting to intended focus of the storyline. .
The documentary that follows is interesting enough, but also has a less-than-desirable distraction being the ill-placed backlighting of the frizzy-haired historian.
