WOW! There are some really great books coming out this year and this is DEFINITELY ONE OF THEM!
Starting from the very first page you will be pulled into the story and your mind will actively try to figure out how any of it, if not all of it, could possibly be possible.
While out for a morning run, Jace comes across a tablet.
Who is the owner and how can she get it back to them?
As she looks it over she realizes that it has her company's symbol on it.
Taking it to work to turn it in and showing it to a friend starts a path of travel that Jace is not prepared for.
The images on the tablet are of her, but scenes of places she has never been to before...
And she is with people she has never met before.
And then the dreams start...
Is this tablet a message from her future self?
Race with Jace as she frantically tries to put the pieces together before the images become a reality.
In the future they MIGHT control the world
But right now, with the tablet, SHE controls the future.
Riveting! Thrilling! Fantastic!

Excuse me while I catch my breath... Great story with excitement around every page. In the beginning, I was screaming at Jace, she frustrated me at first, but what an awesome character she turned out to be. I realized that I would probably be just like her, not knowing who to trust and being too trusting, all at the same time. I think that that is what made her most relatable. So many choices and decisions for her and so many things she had to face, all while trying to chose between Corey and Damien and the turns her life could take her with any choice. The storyline with the tablet was so cool, all that was found in it and all the secrets that were hidden. All of Jace's quirks and breathing techniques were for a good reason, which is slowly revealed through the book. The last fourth of the book is, WOW, make sure you aren't needed for awhile, because you will want to find out what happens. Great ending, too!
Received a PDF from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I'm trying to put my thoughts together after finishing Eruption. I have so many questions. Did he know when he ran into her and, if he did, what parts were staged? What happened in that short period that she can't remember? Where are all the missing pieces? Let me just say one thing that I don't have any questions about... This story ended in a spectacularly intense, crazy mess with a twist when I thought the twists were done. It was a fabulous ending and I am literally dying to get my hands on the next book. When will that be released???
The beginning of this book, maybe the first third, was a little rough for me. I liked everything except that I was frustrated with the main character and her doubts, anxiety, and paranoia. It just took me a while to figure out where she was coming from and who she was. Once more of the pieces fit together and I got a better picture of her past and her future it made a lot more sense. I still think I would have been ripping through that tablet and not telling a certain co-worker so much, but in the end it all fit into the plot.
Once I got past that third of the book, I began being just as paranoid. Lol! I really didn't know who to trust. I'm still not sure I do. The journey getting there though... Intense. And then... Yep. You'll just have to read it. I won't spoil it. It was very well done. Including all the players. I ended up be invested in them all and now I'm still wondering which ones really deserve my affection.
I just know that I ended up falling in love with Jace. I'm still routing for her and wanting her to succeed. To figure things out. To end up with the right guy. To be safe. For the world to be safe. I liked that the plot felt realistic to me with the emanate information loss, the technology that can be implanted, and the power source, all with a company ready to take over the world. I also liked that there was romance, but it didn't overshadow the story and also wasn't instantaneous.
If you enjoy reading suspenseful romantic sci-fi thrillers, with some interesting characters and twists, then I'd definitely pick Eruption up. It was definitely worth reading and I'm dying for the next book!
