I absolutely adored this gem of a sequel to Timeless Moments. Seeing Vietnam and her people from the aftermath of that horrendous and needless war was so gratifying and heartbreaking. Michele has outdone herself on this one with the many wonderful characters and the showing of how the war traumatized its people. It brought home the true humbleness and simplicity of the people there. Michele's insights are remarkable, it was like being there. Thanks Michele.

Michele's books are always great reads, but this one shows an exceptional sensitivity. It is well-researched and absorbing from start to finish.
