Please release the original version again. It is for us a tradition each year and our kids are wanting with their families now to continue that tradition but can't because they don't have a copy of. You can't change a classic. We have wanted to purchase copies to give at Christmas but haven't been able to.

Please, please, please make the old version available. I love the old versions of the songs (ESPECIALLY THREE KINGS-WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE IT?) Gene Moreford's voice is so soothing. I've been out of state for eight years and had no idea there was a new version--it does not have the same impact when your first experience is with the original--it detracts from the spirit of it. Please do like Coke did and make both versions available, so those who were able to rethink Christmas with the first version can keep that experience in OUR hearts, too.

We have loved this story and the songs for years, including seeing the live performance. But like comparing the original Saturday's Warrior to the update, or most anything one gets used to, the original is better. It would have been better for McLean to release another Christmas record to add his new songs -- it spoils the tradition of the original work, and the vocals here just seem off.

Very good - thoroughly enjoyed it, but I find that a CD version with words and music would make a wonderful gift for my friends.

I love this program and it has become a family tradition to hunt down wherever it is being performed and see it at least once each season. I make a habit of giving a book and cd set to at least 2 non-member friends each Christmas and all have enjoyed its unique spirit and story. I have all the versions---tho different all have something wonderful to bring into hearts everywhere. Thank heavens for the creative gifts given to Michael McLean and thanks to he and his family for sharing them with us all.
