I love how Bro. Wilcox looks at the allegory of the olive tree like a parable. It really opened my eyes to how much Heavenly Father is aware of all of His children no matter the circumstance. This is a talk I listen to often. I can't recommend it enough!

This CD really helped me to see that we must endure through our trials, sometimes for years, but the Lord WILL eventually help us through. The things we endure are for our own happiness and the Lord knows better than we do what we need.

Lots of talks address the issue of faith in the face of seemingly unanswered prayers. Bro Wilcox gives the broadest answers I have heard and inspires hope.

Brother Wilcox has a way of touching the soul with his very real and candid approach. He reaches inside the fears and insecurities of each of us as he talks about our deepest desires and disappointments. I was moved and strengthened by his ability to point where I needed to look, and to shed light where it has been darkest. These are words worthy of hearing time and again.

Everyone who is suffering some type of adversity in his/her life should listen to this talk. My husband and I listened to it while traveling to the Denver temple recently, and it brought tears to my eyes to realize what I knew spiritually: that God does not leave us alone in our struggles, and that he never allows more to happen than he knows we can handle. Having agonized for years over a disabled son and a wayward daughter, I was uplifted and my hope and faith renewed by the end of 'The Fourth Watch.'
