In this spirited fireside presentation, well-known youth speaker John Bytheway brings the heroes of the Book of Mormon alive and illustrates the attitude the Lord desires of us. John discusses the difference between being valiant and two other attitudes, both of which are dangerous. He says that some people really want to see how close they can get to the edge without having to see the bishop. Other young people go to seminary, go to church, and keep high standards just because they're 'post to.' They don't really know why. They often don't want to give up some of their favorite vices, either. But the heroes of the Book of Mormon and some young heroes whom John Bytheway has met are truly valiant--following the Lord's commandments because they want to. These are the people who want to do what's right, please the Lord, and return to live with Him. As always, John Bytheway gives a powerful and entertaining talk that will motivate young listeners to want to be valiant.

I listened to this over 15 years ago several times. It was a favorite. Now I'm downloading the MP3 so I can share it with my wife & kids.
This is my absolute favorite product of John Bytheway's. It is done with a lot of humor, but I learned SO much from it. I feel like I know and can relate to the characters in the Book of Mormon so much better now. I love this CD! It's great for any ages.
