I found this book to be immensely helpful in coming to better understand difficult questions and topics that we Latter-day Saints face, including depression, anger, divorce, homosexuality, abuse, war, adversity, and achieving balance between family, church, and profession. His writing is backed up with extensive use of the scriptures, modern prophetic counsel, and modern scholarly research. I have learned much about these topics and am more comfortable explaining them to others when they come up. This book has increased my knowledge and strengthened my testimony. I'd recommend it to anyone.
