J. Golden Kimball…the very name conjures up salty anecdotes and humorous stories. His straight talk
and colorful language have led some to call him the Mormon Mark Twain or Will Rogers. Drawing heavily
from the diaries, letters, and speeches of J. Golden Kimball, James Arrington has created a masterful
look into the life of this unique LDS leader who has inspired (and entertained) countless Saints throughout
the years. The legendary wit, humor, and warmth of J. Golden are brought to life through Bruce
Ackerman’s powerful portrayal of this true LDS folk hero.

Years ago, we bought the 2-cassette pack and I was overjoyed to find the CD this week. But imagine how disappointed I was to find that the first cassette's portion, Arrington's introduction talk to the play (along with a recording of J. Golden Kimball himself) missing from the CD!! This really needs to be added! Otherwise, this is as good, as funny as ever. Bruce Ackerman was born to play "Uncle Golden."
