The catalog listing doesn't say if this is the CD, the audiocassette, the VHS video, or a book. Therefore, several short reviews of each one.
If this is the audio recording of the one-man play, it's excellent - AND well acted. The cassette had an hour of introduction by Arrington, including audio of J. Golden himself - and Arrington is right: He DID sound like Dudley DoRight. The actor has the voice down without making it irritating.
If this is the CD, it's all the above - minus Arrington's marvelous introduction. The CD suffers for this loss.
If this is the VHS videotape, the material is the same -- but the actor makes the voice blackboard-scratching irritating. The introduction by Arrington is gone.
If this is a book by Arrington -- I haven't seen it.
If I knew which form this is in, I'd probably buy it.
