Product Description

The question of whether Mormons are Christians has received a lot of attention lately. It has been debated in the media and by members of other faiths, and the debate will probably continue for a long time. However, the final word on whether Mormons are Christians will be decided by only one — and that is Jesus Christ himself. In this fireside presentation, Brother Bytheway discusses an experience at an Eagle Court of Honor and a conversation he had on an airplane with an evangelical minister, both of which spurred a search through the scriptures that led to a peaceful conviction: The heart of the matter is not what others think, but what Jesus knows.

I am a Christian
By , Submitted on 2015-02-25

What a great talk! Especially in these times where we are getting more media attention about people claiming we are not Christian. This book is geared more toward adults, but I think anyone will benefit from the lessons in this book. John is a great conduit for the spirit to teach us about the Savior, and His love for us. I am a Christian, Jesus knows it, and it is my responsibility to show it to the world by becoming more like Him. Please share this talk with the people you love. You won't regret it!

A Keeper I will listen to over and over!

I was blown away by this talk! John Bytheway has such a talent for entertaining and amazing us with his insights into the scriptures. It was enlightening listening to the scriptures on “merits” showing us that Jesus not only makes up the gap after all we can do, but in reality there is no gap – we cannot save ourselves on any level! Faith and works are vitally important, but Jesus is my Savior. WOW I am definitely sharing this talk with my friends and family so I can discuss this with them.

Very Well Done

This is aimed more at young adults and adults although some older teens may find it helpful.

Through personal stories and doctrine, this talk really helped me understand how to articulate to others my feelings about my own christianity without being defensive or apologetic.

Very well done!
