365 questions, 5 years, 1,825 memories of motherhood
A mother and child share so much together — countless milestones, simple joys, unexpected challenges, and all the little surprising moments in between. This five-year journal will help you capture it all — simply turn to today’s date and take a few moments to answer the question at the top of the page. As the journal fills, it will become a loving record and cherished family keepsake.
I wanted to get this for the mothers in my life for Mother's Day! The hope was it would be a way for them to journal their lives, and then they could give it back to me as a life memoir. As it turns out, the questions in this book are directed more toward NEW Mommies! Questions like: "Share a potty training moment." or "Tickle your child and write about it here." Although, my mom really could do these things, I think at 48 years old it would be odd for my Mom to join me in the bathroom, and if she ran up and tickled me, I would probably have to have her mental health evaluated. So, my advice is: This would be a great shower gift for an expectant mommy, but not a great gift for my 75 year old Mother.
