The Kiss of a Stranger

This book was a delightful read, that grabbed me right from the beginning and kept me laughing and rooting for Crispin and Catherine to figure out their feelings for one another. I recommend it for anyone looking for a light Summer read while at the beach or camping, or any time there is a need for a small mental vacation! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I am IN LOVE with this book. I read it at least twice and It made me laugh out loud over and over. The messages were wonderful and I really admire how much the characters develop in this book. It was suspenseful and so incredibly charming. I loved it.

Awesome, clean Regency Romance by an amazing award-winning author! This humorous, but emotional book deals with the issue of abusing woman in a touching, not too heavy-handed, way. Catherine's struggle to see herself as strong and worthwhile, after years of suffering at her cruel uncle's hand, is sure to tug at the most cynical heartstrings. I fell in love with Crispin's gentleness towards his timid bride, and desire to do what is right, even if it means sacrificing his own heart. Sarah weaves a good dose of laughter and wittiness into this beautiful story of two people thrown together as strangers, but soon forced to choose either to reject or accept the gift handed them. If you love Jane Austen, and contemporary Regency novels, this book is for you!

The Kiss of a Stranger is a fantastic sweet romance novel. Very witty, humorous, and just romantically fabulous. I've loved all of Sarah M. Eden's books so far and can't wait for more to come out!

This was a fabulous read. I can't wait until Sarah M. Eden's other books are back in print. I liked Courting Miss Lancaster but The Kiss of a Stranger was even better. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a cute love story with equal parts humor and romance.

Another entertaining book set during the Regency period. I love the depth to these characters as well as the mean uncle who forces his niece to marry the man she has been caught kissing in an inn.
Plenty of enjoyable scenes between the main characters as she embarks to London with a titled and wealthily man

I would watch the movie over and over again. I love all of the wit in this book. Especially the scene about the fairy cakes. You know a book is really good when you have to reread it right after you finished it. I can't wait to read more books by this talented author. Way to go Sarah!

I just purchased another of Sarah Eden's books. If it's anything like this one, it'll be money well spent. I loved the storyline, hated the Uncle, and fell in love with the hero! Well done!

Loved Kiss of a Stranger; Phillip Lampton's story is begging to be written! Please tell us you are already doing so...I can picture him as a hero like 'Scarlet Pimpernel'! Keep listening to those lovely voices in your head.

Sarah Eden's books are an enchanting read. I love being swept back to that time and the gentility and poise that existed. Thanks!
