Knights of Right, Vol. 1-4 Set
by M'Lin Rowley
Vol. 1: Ten-year-old Ben and twelve-year-old Joseph discover strange things happening in the woods behind their house. A large man in full black armor and holding a crossbow appears out of nowhere. When an arrow strikes a tree right above their heads, Ben and Joseph are forced to run deep into the woods, only to discover an old castle and none other than King Arthur, who offers them refuge. In fact, King Arthur has come forward in time in order to find new Knights for his Round Table — Knights who will fight against evil and choose the right. However, defeating medieval black knights, ogres, and dragons won’t be what gets the boys “knighted.” Instead, the real test comes by the choices the boys must make when faced with peer pressure. Finding the courage to do the right thing earns the boys a piece of magical armor (one piece of armor per book) and ultimately makes them Knights of Right!
Vol. 2: After winning their shields, Ben and Joseph can't wait to complete the next task in their quest to become Knights of the Round Table. But doing the right thing can be hard, especially when you're facing everything from bullies to giant rolls! Join Ben, Joseph, and Samantha on an exciting mission to defend the right in the second adventure of the Knights of Right.
Vol. 3: King Arthur's castle has been attacked! Ben and Joseph realize that defending the right is more important than ever when the temptation to do wrong comes from unlikely sources - their best friends! Will they give in to peer pressure, or will they triumph and earn their next piece of armor? Find out in the third exciting adventure of the Knights of Right. * Teaches children about the dangers of alcohol.
Vol. 4: Joseph and Ben must figure out what kind of quest King Arthur has set before them after True Heart leaves some puzzling clues. In this electrifying fourth volume, the would-be Knights of Right once again must prove themselves, this time by fighting dwarves with fiery catapults and choosing the right, even when it's really hard. Are they up to the task, or will they get stuck? *This volume cautions children against stealing.

We loved these books enough that I emailed the author to thank her for writing them! We have only read the first 2 and can't wait to get the other 2. Each book has a question section at the end to encourage your children to talk about experiences they've had relating to the boys in the books. love it!
