okay, i'm totally biased--i am her husband. but all the same, this is a great book. at the same time, it's profound and personal. I've had the joy of living with the author for 37 years...and what's in the book is real. it's who she is. nothing faked or affected. she is truly a person who has lived her life trying to understand and follow the language of the lord
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Learning the Language of the Lord' and highly suggest it to others; it is beautiful. This book is packed to the brim with profound personal stories that provide feelings of connection and closeness, it is filled with new ways, clearly spelled out, of thinking about bettering our communication and listening to God, and it is highly sensitive to different groups of people such as those struggling with mental health. This book will fill you with feelings of love and inspiration.
This book had some valuable insights on the language of the spirit-i enjoyed the personal experiences that were shared and left with some practical advice on how to increase revelation in my own life. It was a worthwhile read.
Lynne throws the net of revelation wide to capture the many ways that the spirit speaks to different people. Her stories rang true and helped me recognize ways I have felt the spirit lead my life and also helped me find additional ways I could seek the spirit and approach my prayers as well as understanding answers when they come. Her narrative is captivating and inspiring. I wholeheartedly recommend reading her book not just for yourself, but for help teaching children and youth to ask for and receive guidance from the spirit in their lives.
