Perfect and still pertinent 25+ years later!

I remember seeing this book on the bookshelf of several women I admired as I was a teenager. I loved listening to the audiobook version and realizing that Sister Okazaki’s words were just as valid today, in 2019 as they were when she wrote them in 1992, if not even more applicable. I’m grateful for her example, testimony, and the love I could hear in her words. What a stalwart and strong woman of God - someone I greatly admire.

I really needed this!

I really loved this book! What a wonderful woman with such great advice, especially for women! She helped me understand how being different is great and how I do not need to be so hard on myself. If we are doing our best that is enough! I loved this book and will read it again. I would recommend it to all women out there, but even men could get something out of it.
