I think I spent the whole book hoping that my initial instincts were incorrect. Liz weaves a tale of startling truths into a fictional story that keeps the reader turning the pages.
This was a great book. I loved the characters and the setting in WA and AZ.
Throughout the whole book it kept you thinking. Lots of great twist, and characters. It was to read.
Liz Adair has done it again. I loved the twists and turns in the Mist of Quarry Harbor, I couldn't put it down.
I have to admit that I didn't know there was an LDS genre for romance and mystery until I joined the TOFW book club! Just always purchased inspirational volumes at my local Deseret store. This book was a great read. I enjoyed the fast pace and didn't want to put it down until the mystery was solved. The author was great at giving sublte hints along the way that really had you thinking in a few different directions. Overall a fun and satisfying read. I'll definitely check out her previous books.
My husband and I have read all of Liz Adair's books so far, but I think this one, The Mist of Quarry Harbor, is my favorite. I love the main charactor and the mysteries that she unravels about her late husband. I especially like the part in the Pacific Northwest, which is where we live. I could see Roche Harbor when she described Quarry Harbor. Her description of when Cassie is stranded in a boat in the middle of a bay during a storm was so vivid and I wondered how Liz knew so much about boating. Anyway my husband, Ross, and I loved the book.
