About the Authors

Lexi Hansen

Lexi Hansen is currently a student at Brigham Young University majoring in advertising. In 2015-16, she lived in Iowa teaching the people there about Christ and doing humanitarian work. In high school, she was one of the top tennis players, winning second place at state in doubles. She plays the violin and piano. She is the eighth of nine children. Lexi is in her element when she is doing activities outdoor in the sun, like long boarding, mountain climbing, and playing tennis.

Marcia Hansen

Marcia M. Hansen was born in Orem, Utah. At the age of seven, her family traveled halfway around the world to live in Ethiopia and later in Egypt, opening up a world of adventure to her. After studying art and music at Brigham Young University, she began teaching piano lessons. She also pursues watercolor, oil painting, and photography. Always an avid reader, Marcia felt compelled to write her own book after the miraculous events that transpired in the life of her daughter Lexi. She is the mother of nine children and the grandmother of sixteen.
