Jenny Phillips

Jenny Phillips sings to soothe hearts and inspire change. 'I want people to walk away from my performances wanting to be better,' Jenny says. 'I want them to know their Savior more and have a desire to be more like him.' This is exactly what happens whenever Jenny sings. With a soft yet penetrating voice she fills any room with peace. Her music is laden with powerful truths that create a totality of being as they are whispered to the heart.

Jenny's goal since childhood has been to facilitate the effect music has in peoples' lives. She can still remember the power she felt listening to gospel music as a little girl and the desire she had even then to help others feel that same power. That vision carried her to where she is now fulfilling her dream as a leader in inspirational music as well as one of the most performed and requested artists in the industry. Stories of change and testimony follow wherever she goes.

Jenny graduated from Brigham Young University in 1997 and has run a private vocal studio for more than five years. She currently lives in Salt Lake City with her husband and two children.

This parable was first shared with me at a Young Single Adults, Relief Society Enrichment meeting. I don't think there was a dry eye in the entire group as well all tried to reflect upon which of the three daughters we were best like. I'm looking forward to sharing this story with my children so that they may understand the mission we were sent here to fulfill so that we may all receive that long awaited "Well done my well and faithful servant."

A wonderful book

I bought this for my youngest daughter, and we read it for Family Home Evening. What a wonderful story! A great way to teach your children who they are and the perils of the world. I plan on getting it for my 2 older daughters who have already left home.

Great for daughters leaving home!

This is the best. I bought it for my daughter who just graduated high school. I want her to remember where she too came from and what she needs to aim for. It's scary sending our children out into the world these days and I believe this is just the thing that we can have to read over and over again to remind ourselves.

A wonderful book to be read by everyone!
