Betsy Brannon Delivers another Hazardous Duty Novel
By , Submitted on 2015-02-25

Proceed with Caution brings back the characters readers have grown to respect and love in Hazardous Duty, Above and Beyond & Code of Honor. Betsy Brannon Green skillfully presents this suspenseful mystery with her usual panache we have come to expect in the past twelve years since her first published novel to the current 16th book in print.
Major Dane entrusts his niece's (Brooke Clayton) safety to one of his team members, Hunter / AKA Owl while trying to solve the plague of problems that descended upon his sister's family.
I love the descriptions of life in the 1860's as Betsy weaves her tale placing Brooke and Owl into a Civil War reenactment resort while they go into hiding posing as a married couple.
There are numerous twists to the plots and the book ends with a tremendous cliff hanger that leaves the reader wanting more.

I LOVE Besty Brannon Green's books!
I have read every one of them!

Betsy Brannon Green is best know for her Haggerty Mystery Series.
And she also has a Kennedy Killingsworth Mystery Series.

This book goes along with her Duty Series which includes:
Hazardous Duty
Above and Beyond
and Code of Honor

If you have read these books you will have met Savannah and Major Christopher Dane.
This time Dane's sister, Neely is seeking his help.

Neely's husband is being accused of embezzlement...
Neely's son is trapped in Zimbabwe due to tribal wars...
and if that wasn't enough, Neely's daughter has gone on the run...

Dane and his team have their work cut out for them!

Fun twists and turns in the story including a section of the book where one of Dane's team members finds himself re-enacting Civil War, fun, fun part of the book!

And just when you think the story is coming to the will remember that Betsy is famous for her cliff-hangers...

I promise you will be begging for MORE!

(While this book follows the characters in the previous books, it can be read as a stand-alone book, you don't have to have read the other books first.)

I want more!!!!!
