Product Description

As a former mission president and president of the Missionary Training Center, and member of the Missionary Programs Advisory Committee, Brother Pinegar draws on a wealth of experience to teach what it takes to be a successful tool in the Lord's hands. In this enlightening and entertaining talk, he focuses on the new, higher standards of excellence for missionaries recently emphasized by the brethren in the latest General Conferences and Priesthood Leadership meetings. He discusses how to prepare spiritually by feasting upon the word. He stresses the importance of repenting of past mistakes in order to qualify for the Spirit. Brother Pinegar teaches how to gain a desire for the work, and the importance of teaching by the Spirit. Raising the Bar will be a valuable resource for all who are called to serve.
