Refuge - Salt Lake Temple (24x43 Framed Art)
Refuge - Robert Boyd
“In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.” (Psalm 62:7-8)
Where do we find relief from troubles in this life? Do we unnecessarily trudge along, exposed to the negative elements of the world, when close by and readily available stands the Lord’s house? There is a place where burdens are lightened and we are spiritually uplifted.
When we seek "Refuge," we are seeking safety and security, even peace and love. What better place could we go to find these things than our Father's house? The world today is full of enticements and voices calling us away from our eternal goals and treasures. We are promised that if we go to the temple with a humble heart, we can learn to commune with our Father in Heaven and therein find a true "Refuge" from the many storms raging around us.

Bought this from Deseret back in October 2012 so we've had it for 9 months now and we always get compliments. We're a military family and have since been in a move and one if the packers who was putting it back up on our new wall commented, "This picture's tripping me out. It looks like the lamps are actually turned on and shining light." This is a nice, big, high quality piece. It truly has a lit-from-within look. We have it hanging in our living room and it always makes me smile.

This picture is MUCH darker than Deseret shows it to be online or in the catalog. I was very disappointed. If only it looked like the picture they show. I think this is deceptive.

I just picked mine up this evening from the Ft. Union Deseret Book. I bought it as a Christmas present for myself, so I have not opened it yet, but I love the beauty of the piece, both the title and what it represents. This is great! Keep creating these pieces, Robert! And keep stocking them, Deseret Book. Wonderful!
