We received this movie for Christmas and everyone was excited to see it. However, the acting was a huge disappointment. The story was fair, with a good surprise ending, although it wasn't as much about missionary work as it was about attitude. I couldn't recommend it, though, without a huge caveat that the acting is really bad. I wouldn't want to see it again, nor would I have wanted to waste my time seeing it the first time.My bottom line Sorry...try something else.

I was looking forward to this movie so much, the only thing that swayed me from buying it sight unseen was reading the poor reviews posted here. I did go ahead and rent it though, and all I can say is thank goodness I didn't waste the money to buy it! The only reason I finished watching it was to 'get my $4-worth', but even that is questionable! I would definitely skip any other opportunity to see it again and would never show it to someone, whether they are in the Church or not. I totally agree with what other posters mentioned as being inappropriate and annoying. This movie came nowhere near the uplift I was looking for, and I am baffled by the positive reviews here - they must have seen some other show!!

Was definently worth the money as it also tells a great story about not judging others on appearance or expecting to know all of God's will. It has its weaknesses yet is wrapped up nicely.
