Elinor and Marianne find themselves penniless after their father's fortune is taken away. As they look for ways to pay the bills, they encounter people who judge them and try to keep them down in the dumps. Add falling in love into the mix and determining who to trust becomes a mine field. Can the sisters find a balance between relying on their hearts and using good sense without losing everything they hold dear?

love that movie, which is a great modern version of the classic of sense and sensibility... I watch it several times already and I am not tired of watching it!
I love Jane Austen, so I was hoping this would be good. It was not. I watched it once, but will never watch it again. A waste of time.
I'm a big Austen fan and so this caught my eye immediately. I was not disappointed. Loved the mix of humor and drama and of course romance. Great adaptation of the book.
A little different then I was expecting, but still a fun film.
