She Will Find What is Lost has become one of Brian's Kershisnik most popular and recognizable paintings. In this painting angels gather to assist, bless and guide a woman in need. Of this painting, Brian wrote:
"...many unseen forces are interested in you, love you, and work to influence matters for your profound benefit. Most of what we all do is resist it, misinterpret it, or mess it up, but my experience indicates that these unseen efforts persist impossibly. I thank God for that."
This painting brings a a message for all needs. Having taken care of my bed ridden husband for many years I have felt peace and comfort not only from seen but also unseen angels which is beautifully portrayed by this artist.
This picture magnificently expresses to me those on the other side waiting for their work to be done. When I first saw this painting I was so touched but I hesitated a little because ;of the cost. I was so drawn to the feelings it generated that I did purchase it. When it arrived I had a strong feeling that it belonged to a family in our stake. They were of Chinese Heritage and so many of the faces had an oriental cast. When Liz asked her relatives for her genealogy she was told that it was only provided to t;he mail line. She pleaded for a long time until one uncle told her that if she would attend certain family gatherings in ;other countries he would give it to ;her. She did and was given many many thousands of names.. This couple was sent to Hong Kong as a mission president and said they planed to take the painting with them. I knew it was home. My daughter then purchased a copy for me also and it is on the wall where I spend many hours researching family genealogy. Thank you for this inspiring painting. I love it and appreciate all it represents.
Beautiful picture, terrible ordering process experience. In November 2017, I went and purchased a copy of this print. I was told I was ordering a print with a frame and that the order would take one week to receive. After a week of patiently waiting I went to the store to pick it up. At that time the cashier let me know it may take well over a month because the artist doesn’t always send them quickly. I was hoping to give this gift as a birthday present in November, but with that news I decided to give it for Christmas instead. I waited another month and finally received a phone call that my picture was in. I gladly went and picked it up and found the picture more beautiful than expected. I took it home, wrapped it, and looked forward to my single sister opening it up on Christmas morning. However, today I received a phone call from another cashier from Deseret Book stating I need to pick up my picture. When I let the person know I had already picked it up last week she informed me that I got the wrong one-I had only ordered a print and not a framed one. I was so upset because I already wrapped the gift and had already been to Deseret Book three times for this picture. I went back down to the Layton store and they gave me a 20x13 print. Since it didn’t come with a frame, which I thought it did, I had to go to framing store and get a custom frame, because they don’t sell 20x13 frames. The cashier from Deseret Book wrote on the tube the size, but luckily the framer measured and found it was a completely different size. I ended up having to pay about $100 for a custom frame.
Your ordering process and customer service is disappointing. Three of your cashiers did not handle this situation correctly. I feel like you have a racket going with the prices being charged and the lack of training for customer service and ordering. Now, my sister will not be opening up her Christmas present, because the custom made frame won’t be ready until the middle of January. I will not be purchasing prints from Deseret Book again.
My wife is currently serving a Temple and Family History Support Mission from our home. To me, the painting is a representation of her praying for inspiration, and the many persons, "on the other side", encouraging, assisting, and joyfully thanking her.
I love this painting. I saw it in the conference center in a recent trip to Salt Lake. The one I purchased was a big disappointment. The picture is blurry, not sharp and clear. The frame is super cheap and was damaged. I was so sad it turned out that way.
I have this beautiful piece of art in my home and I literally "fell in love" with it the first time I saw it.
We are all unique and different and this so completely allows each of us to translate the meaning
to us "personally".
As a Church Service Missionary in the OFSL, from the first time I saw this wonderful print, I have loved it. It is filled with meaning for me as an avid genealogist. Knowing how very thin the veil between us and our ancestors can be, this print reminds me that our ancestors are always there for us. They pray for us and our well-being. They will also help us seek and find them to complete their important eternal work!
I love this piece of art, it lifts my spirit and elevated my soul. For me it calls to mind something deeply personal--I suspect it does the same for others as well. I love it!
I ASKED MY SISTER WHAT SHE THOUGH ABOUT THIS ART.......SHE TOLD ME THE ANGELS WERE HEALING THE WOMEN BODY.I KNEW SHE WOULD SAY THAT.THIS IS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MY SISTER WHEN SHE GETS OUR NEW APARTMENT.
