Product Description

President Boyd K. Packer taught that Latter-day Saint families are living in enemy territory. So now more than ever, Latter-day Saint teenagers must take time to find refuge in holy places! Using humor, powerful stories, and quotations from Church leaders, John Bytheway explains how we can meet the challenge not only to stand, but to remain standing, or to “be not moved” by the shifting winds of popular culture.

An ideal talk on CD that supports the 2013 Mutual theme, which is “Stand Ye in Holy Places.”

John Bytheway has us laughing through any talk he gives. He knows how to talk to and touch the youth, but this talk is perfect for adults as well. He gives many examples of those who stood in holy places and those who chose to be removed from the holy place even for just a moment. He also tells us that we do not have to live in the temple and be there 24-7, although we should go as often as we can. He said that do go as often as we can and keep the Holy Ghost with us that we become that holy place. I really enjoyed this talk a lot! Great talk with awesome insight. I would recommend listening to it!

John uses several real-life stories as examples of WHY it is so important to ALWAYS be where you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to be doing.
