About the Author

City of Enoch

City of Enoch is a contemporary Christian vocal trio consisting of Jeremy Christensen, Brianna Curran, and Kyle Wesley. After traveling to Nashville to write songs and put together initial ideas for a group, Jeremy and Kyle began the concept of the group by writing the song “Bountiful” along with a mutual friend and producer. Shortly after that, they recruited Brianna Curran, someone they discovered on YouTube, after searching for singers in Utah who could complete their concept for a group with powerful three-part harmonies and the ability to easily share vocal leads. Based out of Salt Lake City, the group quickly gelled, and they began performing and creating more demo songs. Soon they were discovered by Shadow Mountain Records and signed a deal to immediately begin work on their first album. Their debut album features primarily original songs, drawing inspiration from their faith journey. Standouts are some of their first songs, “Bountiful” and “One Prayer away,” as well as an incredible cover of the Hilary Weeks classic “He Hears Me.” Expect big things from City of Enoch.

Awesome album!

I heard City of Enoch at a Time Out for Women event in Pasadena, CA. They were fantastic! I bought their CD at the event a week before it came out. I have listened to that album at least 20 times since April 7th!! I love the pop beat, the inspiring lyrics, and that all of the songs are centered around the Savior...what could be better? This group will have global appeal in the Christian music genre (just like Hilary Weeks!). Buy this music for yourself and buy it for someone else as well! I can't wait for their next album!!

I enjoyed listening to the music of this new group called City of Enoch. I'd categorize their music as Christian pop, with it's great messages yet upbeat pop sound. I only recognized one of the songs on this album but the arrangement was definitely different. I enjoyed all the songs, especially the ones about the Savior. The title song Sweet Redeemer was my favorite though. What a comforting, sweet message about the love of the Lord for us. I also really enjoyed the two songs based on stories from the Book of Mormon, Bountiful, about the visit of the Savior to the temple in Bountiful in the Americas, as well as 2000 about the Stripling Warriors. A fun, yet sweet new collection of songs for all those who love the Lord and beautiful music. I highly recommend that you check it out.
