About the Authors

Steve Alder

Steve Alder has been active in flute performance throughout the intermountain west for over three decades. He is a past first place winner of the Senior Division of the Utah State Fair competition, and studied on music scholarship at Brigham Young University. Steve performed as principal flutist with the Mormon Youth Symphony in Salt Lake City for over fifteen years, and performed in numerous live, recorded and televised performances in this capacity.

Julie Keyes

Julie Gaisford Keyes made her debut at the age of 15 as a soloist with the Utah Symphony. She is a two time winner of the American Harp Society National Harp Competition winning first prize in the Intermediate II and 2nd prize in the Advanced Division. She is also past winner of the Ruth Lorraine Close Competition. Julie has performed all over the globe in cities such as Glasgow, London, New York City, Los Angeles, Tucson, Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, San Antonio, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City.

I absolutely love this cd! :) Steve Alder and Julie Keyes are amazing together and the instumental songs allow for such a sweet reverance.

Testimony in this music !

Oh may goodness, this music has captured the joy of bringing people to Christ. These artists can sure bare testimony with flute and harp!

Soothing

This is nice inspirational music that is soothing and is great background for other activities. The instrumental hymns allow the words to run through your mind uninhibited. It's great thanks.
