Product Description

Going undercover in a Salt Lake City Mormon singles ward is not anti-terrorist agent Matthew Knight’s idea of a high-profile assignment. And he has deliberately avoided the Beehive State ever since his mother was murdered in Salt Lake City when he was eight years old. Ready at first to defy his orders from Washington, he resolves to stick around when he’s attacked by a man with ties to his past. But this undercover assignment is unlike any Matt has encountered before. Not only must he find the bad guys, but he must also deal with eccentric roommates, a giant of a bishop who is also his boss, a boisterous ex-Marine who wants to engage Matthew in a public display of ultimate machismo, and a seventy-five-year-old woman named Permelia who wants to marry him. And these are small distractions compared to the beautiful Hope Win- slow, a woman with mountains of hair who adopts him as a surrogate big brother. But before he can think about love, Matt has to get rid of a few terrorists, including his mother’s killer—and his own inner demons.

About the Author

Frank Holdaway

Frank Holdaway has been a fan of action thrillers from the time his father handed him an Alistair McLean novel at the age of ten. Since then, he has delighted in finding a tale that can take him from airport departure gate to destination hotel and back to long-term parking in such a state of engrossed concentration that he is in danger of missing his shuttle stop. When he’s not lost at the airport, he enjoys creating stories that he hopes will cause others to miss their bus. He currently lives with his wife and two kids in the foothills of Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Really enjoyed this book. Very fun story, characters, and a few life lessons.

Good Thriller with a Mormon Twist

This undercover spy novel is set in a single adult ward. This made for a little fun. There were some cliche characters such as a nerdy roommate, and the homely girl that gets a makeover. But I still found it fun and perfect for my walks and work commute.

This book was so good I convinced my husband to give it a try. He finished it before I could! Frank has spun a great combination of humor, romance, and action, He is a great writer. I found no need to skip through paragraphs or explanations.

This is one of the best suspense novels I have ever read!

Filled with witty humor, splashes of romance, terrorists, and intense suspense.

You will find yourself captured in the story and then just when you think you figured it out the author throws in another twist to the story...SO GOOD!

I hope this author has more books coming...I would definitely like to read more!

I love books that have a bit of spy edge to them, so that was what attracted me to this one and I am so glad that I picked it up. It was fast moving, but clean and the story had so many twists and turns that I was guessing right until the end - which is unusual for me. There were parts that were so funny - like the name of the cafeteria - the fact that the macho hero colors princesses but only under duress make the story so fun. Plenty of the story line is very unbelievable, but hey, it is fiction and is meant to entertain which it did very well. I will look for this authors next book.
