Young members of the Church often ask, "How can I gain a testimony?" John Bytheway suggests that perhaps a better way to ask the question is, "How do I grow a testimony?" Using the New Testament parable of the sower as a metaphor, he divides the process of growing our testimony into four parts: the soil, the seed, the season, and the supper. He also shows that in order to grow the things we want, we have to weed out the things we don't. Using humor, scriptural examples, and quotations from Church leaders, Brother Bytheway gives a workable plan for "weeding" our brain and growing our testimony.
This is an excellent talk by John Bytheway. It gives a great view of the parable of the seeds and the sower. I recomend to all. :)
I bought one for home and one for each of my kids living away from home. Just a real down to earth talk...as is his usual style!
I bought this for my daughter and she listened to it and then passed it on to several her friends. I may need to buy it again!
Another great talk by John Bytheway! He uses the perfect mix of the scriptures, personal experiences and humor to teach about testimonies. My whole family loved it!
I got this CD two weeks ago and have listened to it 3 times already! It is, as one would expect, amazing. I love it. Everyone can benefit from the insights shared in this talk.
