Simple and straightforward, this was the perfect book to open a dialogue about why temples are sacred and important places. The concepts on each page are explained in uncomplicated, carefully chosen words, accompanied by sweet illustrations. This book is great for nursery classes (just read the topics and explain the pictures), FHE, and primary classes as well. The open ended question about what a temple means to the reader and the scripture references in the back can lead into deeper insight and study with older children as well. It should be in every LDS home.
I enjoyed reading this cute picture book to our 2 year old. I loved the simple way things were explained in this book. Each page talking about the way that the Temple is a House of God in a way that children will be able to understand.
And I really loved the illustrations. They are fun, cute and easy to understand for young children as well.
If you're looking for an easy way to explain the Temple to your children, no need to look any further!
