For three years families have experienced together the tragedies and triumphs that surrounded Joseph Smith and a vision that would change the world. Now you can complete your collection of this epic trilogy with The Work and the Glory III: A House Divided!
“. . . A Moving Family Drama. . . .” — Sean P. Means, The Salt Lake Tribune
A very good movie. All of three parts made my testimony grow. Pls make a bluray copy.
I love these movies, so why are they ending at the 3rd book? Aren't they going to do the rest? The story doesn't stop there.
They are fantastic and help strenghten my testimony of Joseph Smith and Heavenly Father and how difficult those times were. They will and are becoming difficult again for us, too. We need their examples to stay close to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
All the movies were good despite not following storyline from the books. I just wish they would continue the DVD thru the end of the whole storyline contained in the books. I want more!
I loved the the first 2 movies and was very excited to watch the third one, but I was very dissapointed in the inappropriate attire worn by a women in the beginning of the movie. As a LDS women the immodest attire was offensive to me, a huge disappointment.
Absolute fantastic movie. This series is my favorite LDS movies.
I love watching the trilogy. It strengthens my testimony of pioneers and Joseph Smith.
I love to watch these movies. They bring lots of feelings to perspective.
Well, as a major fan of the Work and the Glory series, I was pretty disapointed in this film. Acting was very mediocre, the story moved way too fast and very little time spent on the portions that really mattered. I bought it without seeing it, and now wish I had rented or borrowed it first.
This is an excellent end to the trilogy. Lots of passion and drama, and a good happy ending.
they did a good job picking some of the important parts of the books. the acting is great. i just wish they could have done one movie per book.
My entire family enjoys this movie so my son told his friend's mom about it. She borrowed it and wants to keep it now!!! (they are not LDS).
I have never read the books, but my wife and I enjoyed the movies.
This is a really good series. I enjoyed them all and would suggest watching them.
The 3rd movie in the set brought us up to the end of the series and allowed us to follow the characters to conclusion. The movie presented good acting and well written script. The third movie was good and kept our attention. It was a bit more romantic than I hoped for, but that is what the books were building at all along. Good Movie. 3 1/2 Stars.
What a great story!
This Work and the Glory movie is my favorite! I especially like the transformation of the oldest boy and how he can change so much! It makes you realize that miracles really can happen because you would have never expected him to change- yet he does!
Why did this movie feel like it ended in the middle? I certainly hope the filmmakers are planning to finish the story.
I'm so disappointed - why oh why did the second two movies differ so much from the first? I know movies can never contain all that is included in the book, but I barely recognised the storyline. Very disappointing and I'm glad they're leaving the story here rather than making any more. If you're a fan of the books, or of quality entertainment in general, stay away from the second two parts of this 'trilogy'.
This movie blows, big time. I thought it was so bad that I tell everyone I talk to about it and strongly encourage them NOT to watch it. The filmakers officially insulted the book and the first movie, which was terrific. The actors did fine, but the script is embarrassing, the movie's story is made up of alot of garbage that is not in the book.
I saw this film four times in theaters and bought the DVD immediately. It is emotionally touching, aesthetically pleasing, spiritually uplifting, and historically accurate. (The color of the Kirtland Temple's exterior is actually correct in the film according to archaelogical analyses of the temple. It was not white as it is now.) I would highly recommend this film and the entire series to anyone.
