I love romance novels and Sarah Eden's novels have captured my heart. Beautifully written she has you enthralled from the start. I enjoyed getting to know the Jonquil family and what a truly fine family they are. Their kindness and caring for others is amazing. I think the love story between Corbin and Clara is exceptional and sweet. How can you not fall in love with Clara. Edmond, and Alice and the entire Jonquil family. I would recommend this book to any who are looking for a good clean romance, which is also and easy read..

Another fabulously great clean romance from Sarah Eden. No wonder she is one of my two favorite romance writers. Once again we meet the Jonquil brothers with all their quirks. This story focuses on Corbin, the brother that raises horses for a living. Corbin's quirk is his extreme shyness that often comes across as arrogance. Which is exactly how Clara sees him when they first meet. But as Corbin teaches Edmund about horses as well as about being a man, Clara starts to realize there is more to Corbin than she originally thought. Clara's past experiences with men have been negative so she is slow to trust. As she grows to care about and trust Corbin and his family, she starts to hope for a better future, until a nightmare from her past shows up to destroy it.
I really, really love Sarah Eden's books. Not only are they well-written, with great characters, interesting plots, and beautiful settings, but they are clean! Clean romances can be hard to find these days, so it's very refreshing to me to find romances that have depth of feeling, some good kisses, and plenty of feel good moments. There always seem to be moments that I want to cheer when I read Eden's books and I always seem to laugh. If you enjoy those sorts of things as well, you may love this author's books as well.

Have a mentioned how much I love Sarah M. Eden's writing? I LOVE HER BOOKS!
This book is no exception. Sarah M. Eden has been writing several stories that have the Jonquil Brothers as main characters. These men are so fun to read about. I especially liked reading this one, as it had a different feel to it.
Many of the Jonquil Brothers are gregarious and we know a lot about them by what they say and do. However, even though Corbin has been included in previous stories, we don't know a lot about it. This story gives us insight in to his character as a quiet, compassionate, and upstanding gentleman.
Although I think it is worth reading the other books first, this book could be read on its own.
The previous books which are worth reading are:
The Kiss of a Stranger (this book is not about the Jonquil Brothers, but is where we are introduced to them)
Friends and Foes
Drops of Gold
Honestly, I wish I could read a book about each of these brothers. Hopefully Ms. Eden will keep writing about these fine, funny, and very handsome men. Gotta add the handsome, right?!
I would let my 16 year old read this book.

Corbin Jonquil is a man who has a hard time expressing himself. He becomes awkward and speaks in broken sentences. His condition is amplifies when a lovely widow moves in to the residence closest to his home. She immediately catches his attention and his interest.
Mrs. Clara Bentford is fleeing her past. She wants to begin a new life away from the memories and the presence of a man who wants to hurt her, her daughter, and her nephew. She hopes that this town will provide the shelter and peace that she desires.
I loved the advice that Corbin's family gave him to get Clara's attention. It was funny when he tried things he wasn't comfortable with. I appreciated the message that it's best to be yourself. People will like you when you are your true self and not trying to be someone else.
This book is very easy to read. It pulls you into the story and keeps your mind there. It was fun to catch up with the Jonquil's. This is the third book featuring a member of the family. While it is part of a series, they can be read alone. I have only read the first and now the third and didn't feel lost or that I was missing keys to the plot.
If you want a great book to read, you can't go wrong with reading one by Sarah M. Eden. She does a great job at writing the story and leaving you feeling satisfied when you finish.

Corbin is shy and can do nothing but stutter and act awkwardly around women. But when the widowed Mrs. Bentford moves into the village, he finds himself drawn to her and her children and wonders how to get her to notice him. This was a charming tale of an honorable, good man who doesn’t believe himself to stand out compared to his witty, charming brothers. He tries to win the woman he loves by acting as someone other than the gentle, kind man he truly is—wearing dashing clothes, dressing like a rogue, talking about subjects he doesn’t care about. But what he doesn’t realize, is that Clara falls in love with the man she sees beneath his bumbling, awkward façade, and the love of a good woman gives him the confidence to shine. Great writing. Superb character development. Fun, exciting plot and mystery.

Fabulous!!!!! I am absolutely adoring all of Sarah Eden's books. She has a great sense of humor and I love he characters so much. Often the characters from previous books come up in newer releases, even if they are not from the same series. Their parts are small and you don't need to read the previous book to enjoy the new one. It just adds to the fun if you recognized the characters from the past. In this book I loved the relationship between Corbin and Clara. While he is not the most dynamic of the Jonquil brothers, she sees his strengths and loves him for who he is. He is just right to help her overcome the fears of her past. Beautiful. So fun to see the other bothers in action too! Can't wait for more!

Sarah Eden has done it again...
She has given us another masterpiece of a novel!
Full of romance!
So. So. So. Good!
Clara is new in the neighborhood with her two small children.
Rumors are flying about who she is and why she is here.
Corbin finds her very attractive and her children darling.
He is drawn to them like no one else.
But he has a hard time expressing himself.
Clara misinterprets his attention!
Corbin misinterprets her reactions!
When Corbin comes to Clara's aid in getting rid of two unwelcome men from her past will it be enough to soften Clara's heart towards him?
SO WONDERFULLY GOOD!
