"Our Father in Heaven did not send us to earth only to begin mortality but to finish it," Jack Christiaso reminds us in this motivating talk. In his warm and enthusiastic style, he encourages us to hold on to hope as we progress in our journey to become more godlike. A key to maintaining such hope, Brother Christianson explains, is recognizing that while it is true that we need to do all we can to receive and keep sacred covenants, we also need to rely on Jesus Christ to help us as we face the many challenges of living in today's world. Brother Christianson gives specific, gospel-based suggestions on meeting some of these challenges, including dealing with wayward children and withstanding the sexual pressures of our time. Given the particular difficulties-and opportunities!-of the latter-days, the last thing that Church members want to do is lose hope.
