Vocal Point’s all–new self–titled album is sure to become part of your everyday summer listening playlist. With current pop hits, inspirational hymns, crowd–pleasing Disney tunes, and just about everything in between, there is truly something on this album for everyone. Vocal Point is the group’s first album since cutting ties with major label Decca Gold, part of Universal Music Group, and it is especially meaningful to group members, representing their collective blood, sweat, and tears. “I’m so proud of what we’ve created with this album,” said group member Jason Bromley. “The arrangements are off the–charts good, and the vocals and beats will blow your mind. It has been a long time coming, but I think people will sense that it was worth the wait.” “The music, the production, the vocals, the energy—it all represents not only a new, fun musical direction for us, but at its core, it also represents the journey Vocal Point has been on the last 29 years,” said group director and album producer McKay Crockett. “For years Vocal Point has tried to show that you can listen to cool, awesome music while still staying locked on your values. That is what our group is all about, and truthfully, there is no better way to describe this album than that sentiment right there.” “It’s getting harder and harder to find chart–topping music that aligns with our mission and values,” said group member Josh Dalley. “We strive to be a mainstream listening source, so we really had to get creative as we worked on this album.” Like many in the world, the group has experienced loss as a result of this global pandemic. Among other things, a monthlong tour throughout the United States and Cuba was canceled, something that the students had been working toward all year. In such an uncertain and peculiar time, the group hopes the music on this album can not only be great music to listen to but can bring comfort and confidence to those who might need an extra boost. “When I sing these songs, I feel something that seems to ignite a fire within me to be better and to do better,” said group member Zac Love. “That’s what I hope others feel when they hear this music.” Album Tracks Feel Good Never Gonna Give You Up High Hopes Change You Are the Reason Tarzan Medley Stayin' Alive The Climb (ft.
