"I painted this based off of an experience a sweet lady shared with me. She had battled with MS for a large portion of her life, and when her ability to walk started to decrease, her husband started to pick her up and carry her where she needed to go. She expressed to me that it didn’t matter how often or how difficult it was, her husband was always right there to lift her. I originally painted this as her and her husband, and I gave that painting to her, but as I thought more about her situation, I realized that what her husband did for her is what Christ does for each of us daily.
