On the Red River outside of Hanoi, Vietnam is the ancient Ceramic village, known as Bat Trang. Over 800 years ago, the King of Vietnam designated this area as the ceramic area of Vietnam. Since that time, artisans like the Nguyen Family have been consistently producing ceramics like this stunning, 9-piece Nativity. Each set is molded out of clay. The clay is poured by hand, dried, and taken out of the mold before being fired in a kiln, giving each piece a unique, hand-made feel. Tallest piece measures 8.5”.
