This work on Isaiah's teachings is designed to help students of the scriptures increase their understanding of the words of Isaiah. His writings persuade us to believe in Christ and they give hope to us in our day (see 2 Nephi 19:23-24). Through the words of modern-day prophets and apostles we are given added clarification, guidance, and encouragement to assist in this effort. I have tried to faithfully explain and interpret Isaiah's words in harmony with the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This reflects my understanding and should not be taken as an official statement of the Church, or that any official endorsement of this work is implied by the author.
